The website looks phenomenal. This is an excellent program and has an enormous impact on not only the students involved but also the officers that get to work with the students!

Thanks for your comment. This program is truly focused on the student. We hope to have pic's added from our programs to our web site, after each program. The site should be completed by mid June. Again thanks.

I am so amazed at the impcat that this program has on the students. I was given the chance to see this program as a freshman and today i was given the chance to help in making the group impact the students even better. I thank you for all you guys do.

I had the opportunity to help with the Freshman Impact program at Central High School on May 1st, 2012. It is a phenomenal program and wish I had something like this when I was in high school. It was an honor to be part of it and cannot wait to help again in the years to come. And I hope that it continues for many years so that my children can experience it.

I was extremely impressed with the Freshman Impact program you recently conducted at Central HS. Our freshman could talk of nothing else that night. Attendance was the only disappointment -- I understand there were only 75 or so students out of a class of 500. I'd recommend to the administration that this become a required program.

Scott

Thanks for your comment.
Yes we were shocked at the attendance at Central. We did have about 165 students at Central, but not all were central students.

In the last seven years it has been our experience that often the percentages of students participating the first year is around 65 to 75%.
After that it does increase. Douglas school does make it a requirement now for all freshman to attend. Other schools are looking at that as well.

Again thanks for your comment

Hi, I am the Director of FOCUS, Inc. the victim advocacy program for Weston County Wyoming, where you hold freshman impact every year. We have been left out every year but were able to get in to volunteer and fill goodie bags. This year we were not informed of the date and had previous commitments when we learned of the date. We really want to be an active part of this program that is held in our community. You can reach me at 307-746-2748, which is Focus's office number.
